The Maldives National University Library will conduct a Search Strategies and Information Evaluation Session to help the students of the School of Nursing (Thinadhoo Campus) develop effective skills for finding, accessing, and evaluating reliable information for their academic studies and research.

The session will cover practical techniques for conducting effective literature searches using library databases, online resources, and search engines. Participants will learn how to develop keywords, use Boolean operators, refine search results, and identify relevant academic sources.

The focus of the session will be on evaluating the credibility, accuracy, relevance, and currency of information, helping students distinguish reliable scholarly sources from unreliable or misleading information.

The session will include practical examples and search exercises to help participants apply these skills confidently in their academic work.
