As part of the EduTech Webinar Series (Series 5) under the EduTech Symposium, a session titled “Robogogy: Framework for Integrating Robotics into Education for Non-IT Teachers” was held 21 December 2024 to highlight innovative approaches to technology-enabled learning.
The webinar featured Dr. Ali Fawaz Shareef, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic Affairs) at The Maldives National University, as the panelist, and was moderated by Aminath Zifna, Lead Instructional Designer at the Centre for Educational Technology and Excellence (CETE).
The session provided educators with an opportunity to explore the Robogogy framework, learn practical strategies for integrating robotics into teaching without prior IT knowledge, and discuss how robotics can empower teachers and inspire students.
The free webinar which was open to the public formed an integral part of the initiative leading up to the EduTech Symposium 2025, further strengthening the event’s focus on innovation, capacity building, and the advancement of technology-enabled education in the Maldives.
