Dr Athaulla A. Rasheed, Dean of the School of Security and Strategic Studies (SSSS), MNU, presented at the Indo-Pacific Regional Dialogue – Science, Technology and Academic Cooperation at the Manekshaw Centre in New Delhi on 3 November 2026, highlighting the growing academic and research collaboration between MNU SSSS and the National Maritime Foundation (NMF). His presentation focused on maritime security data points, areas of shared and conflicting interface and interactions that move beyond national maritime security operations, surveillance, monitoring and apprehension, and how academic institutional collaboration can shape regional dialogue in delivering national security. His presentation also emphasised that the recently signed MOU between MNU and NMF will serve as a foundational platform for enhancing research cooperation between the two institutions.
