The Department of Public Health at the Faculty of Health Sciences (FHS), The Maldives National University (MNU), held a gathering for lecturers and students to support communication, mentorship and academic engagement.
The meeting gave students and staff space to discuss academic matters, share concerns and build connections beyond scheduled classes. This regular form of engagement supports a responsive and supportive learning environment.
Regular conversation between lecturers and students gives the department a way to identify learning needs and strengthen academic support.
The gathering relates to SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) through student wellbeing, SDG 4 (Quality Education) through academic support, and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) through stronger cooperation between students and lecturers.
