CME session on IPC

DMS conducted a CME/CNE session for staff of Hulhumale’ Hospital under the project SCALE(Stregnthening health care workforce capacity through global learning). An ongoing project is a partnership between NHS Northumbria and MNU to stregnthen the surveillance of Antimicrobial Resistance(AMR) and achieving reduced hospital acquired infections and antimicrobial stewarship in selected Regional Hospitals of Maldives.

Aligned with the strategic objectives of the National Action Plan on AMR. NAP AMR Alignment:
Strategic Objective 3: Improve awareness and understanding of antimicrobial resistance through effective communication, education and training.
3.2 Education and training of healthcare and professionals.
3.2.2 CME on AMRrelated topics forprofessionals(human and anima lhealth)- physical or
online depend on communication plan.

3.3 Information on IPC, AMR and antimicrobial stewardship (human and health) for staff in healthcare and other relevant institution.
3.3.1 Develop AMR related content for staff orientation program at the time of joining (hospitaksm pharmacy, clinics, institutions etec related to human and animal)
