17th – 19th September 2025 Senior Lecturer Dr. Aminath Waseela conducted Career Guidance Sessions for students of B. Atoll Education Centre, B. Thulhaadhoo School and B. Dharandhoo School during the Fahi MNU Trip.

The sessions aimed to support students in making informed decisions about their future education and career pathways. Key areas covered included higher education opportunities, academic programmes, career pathways, scholarship opportunities, and skills required for future employment. Students were encouraged to explore their interests, strengths, and aspirations while developing skills in career planning, goal setting, and informed decision-making.

The initiative contributed to SDG 4: Quality Education by promoting access to educational guidance and supporting informed learning decisions; SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth by strengthening career awareness and employability skills; and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals by fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing between the university and schools.

Through these sessions, Dr. Aminath Waseela contributed to career awareness, lifelong learning, and student development, helping students prepare for further education and future career opportunities.
