Database training, reading promotion, and book-donation activities strengthened the library’s role as an active learning infrastructure.
A library database session helped participants practise locating and using academic information. World Book Day and Library Book Donation Week created further opportunities to promote reading and invite community participation in expanding access to learning resources.

Orientation activities helped new and returning students understand the support available through the campus. These activities position the library as more than a place of book circulation: it is a point of access to information, academic skills, and shared learning.
Through this work, MNU Hithadhoo Campus contributed directly to SDG 4 – Quality Education. The activity also supported SDG 10 – Reduced Inequalities; SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals. Within the MNU Strategic Plan 2026–2030, it advanced Goal 1 – Academic Excellence; Goal 8 – Fostering a Conducive Work and Learning Environment; Goal 9 – Student-Centred Excellence.
