On 21st August 2025, Assistant Professor Dr. Fathimath Shougee participated in the Theveli 2025 Post-Conference Workshop, titled “Brainstorming in Reverse — Greening Campus, Curriculum, and Student Learning.” Organized by the Research Development Office of The Maldives National University (MNU), the workshop was facilitated by international education consultant Dr. Scott G. Blair. The interactive session introduced reverse-brainstorming techniques to identify institutional barriers and explore innovative strategies for integrating environmental sustainability into campus operations, academic curricula, and student learning experiences.

The engagement supports SDG 4 – Quality Education by promoting education for sustainable development, while contributing to SDG 12 – Responsible Consumption and Production through the promotion of sustainable campus practices. It also aligns with SDG 13 – Climate Action by encouraging climate-conscious approaches to education, institutional operations, and student learning.

Through such professional engagements, the faculty continues to strengthen its contribution to sustainable development and promote environmental responsibility across higher education.
