Community Health Event on Stroke

School of Nursing students conducted a community health activity on stroke, focusing on awareness of risk factors, warning signs, prevention and the importance of seeking urgent care. The activity supported public health literacy while giving students practical experience in health education and community engagement. Improving recognition of stroke symptoms can encourage earlier treatment and reduce avoidable disability.

The event increased community awareness of stroke prevention and early recognition and strengthened students’ communication and health-promotion skills.
