22 February 2025

Lecturer Ahmed Hashim facilitated workshops titled “Tips on Preparing for Exams” for students of K. Guraidhoo School from 21 to 22 February 2025. The workshops were designed to strengthen students’ examination preparation skills, build academic confidence, and support them in developing effective learning habits.

The sessions focused on practical strategies including effective study techniques, time management, examination skills, goal setting, and approaches to managing exam-related stress. Students were encouraged to develop positive study routines and apply appropriate strategies to improve their readiness for assessments and achieve better academic outcomes.

The initiative contributes to Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4): Quality Education by promoting effective learning strategies, strengthening students’ academic skills, and supporting improved learning outcomes. By providing students with practical tools for examination preparation, the workshops contribute to more effective and purposeful learning.

The programme also supports SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being by addressing examination-related stress and promoting emotional preparedness. Equipping students with strategies for managing academic pressure can contribute to healthier approaches to learning and assessment.

Furthermore, the workshops align with SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities by providing academic support opportunities to students in different schools and communities. Making skills-based educational support accessible to a wider range of learners contributes to more equitable opportunities for academic development.

Through these workshops, Lecturer Ahmed Hashim contributed to student academic development, well-being, and equitable learning opportunities, supporting the broader goals of quality and inclusive education and advancing the Sustainable Development Goals.
