On 21st and 23rd August 2025, Senior Lecturer Shihanath Ibrahim and Senior Lecturer Mohamed Shameem Adam from the Faculty of Education (FE), Maldives National University (MNU), GDh. Thinadhoo Campus, participated in a course promotion and community outreach campaign conducted across several islands in the atoll, including Faresmaathoda, Fiyoree, Rathafandhoo, and Nadella.

The initiative also strengthened the Faculty of Education’s engagement with communities across the atoll and promoted accessible higher education opportunities, encouraging local youth to pursue further education and develop their academic and professional potential.
The campaign highlighted the importance of community engagement and educational outreach in connecting prospective learners with relevant higher education opportunities, supporting informed educational choices, and encouraging lifelong learning and continued professional development.
