The School of Security and Strategic Studies (SSSS), MNU, launched the Maldives Security Outlook (MSO), a premier academic online platform dedicated to publishing and promoting research on the Maldives’ security issues and broader regional interests. This initiative strengthens collaboration among scholars, practitioners, and policy institutions, enhances global cooperation on emerging security challenges, and supports multi‑stakeholder partnerships across the Indian Ocean region, and supports building strong institutions and advancing evidence‑based security studies, academic excellence, national capacity‑building, and regional knowledge‑sharing.
