On 3rd March 2026, Civil Engineering students from the Faculty of Engineering, Science and Technology (FEST) visited the construction site of the new Maldivian Headquarters in Malé, a modern 12-storey steel-structured office building developed for Island Aviation Services Limited and constructed by Human No. 6 Company. The students received a briefing from site engineers on the project design, construction progress, structural system, and safety practices before touring the site to observe ongoing construction activities and key structural elements. The visit provided valuable hands-on exposure to modern construction methods and technologies, enabling students to relate their theoretical knowledge to real-world civil engineering practices and large-scale commercial development.
