The Centre for Maritime Studies (CMS) welcomed enthusiastic marine science students from Imaduddin School for an educational visit aimed at enhancing their understanding of maritime operations and navigation aids. The visit provided students with practical insights into key maritime concepts, including the use and importance of navigational aids in safe marine operations. CMS staff facilitated interactive learning sessions designed to bridge theoretical classroom knowledge with real-world maritime applications. The engagement aimed to inspire interest in maritime education and careers while strengthening foundational understanding of marine science among secondary-level students. Through demonstrations and guided discussions, students were able to explore the role of navigation systems in ensuring safe and efficient maritime transport. The activity reflects CMS’s commitment to community outreach and educational support, contributing to youth awareness, skills development, and the promotion of maritime literacy among future generations.
