MNU Thinadhoo Campus marked Library Day 2026 on 3 September 2026 with a special programme organised by the Central Library under the theme “Around the World.”

The event created an engaging and enjoyable space for students and visitors to explore learning through play, creativity, and interaction. The programme included a variety of activities such as memory games, doodling, “Don’t Touch the Color,” “Pin Your Dream Destination / World Riddle,” “Win with Cups,” and Scattergories.

Through these activities, participants were encouraged to think creatively, work together, solve problems, and connect learning with global awareness. The theme “Around the World” helped promote curiosity about different places, cultures, and ideas, while also highlighting the role of libraries as spaces for exploration, discovery, and lifelong learning.

The event supported important themes of quality education, inclusive learning, creativity, communication, and community engagement. It also reflected the continuing role of libraries in building knowledge, encouraging reading, and creating meaningful learning experiences beyond the classroom.
