The MNU Student Union – Thinadhoo Campus Wing, Neyka, successfully hosted Freshers’ Night for students who joined MNU Thinadhoo Campus in the second semester of 2026.

The event was held on the night of 29 August 2026 at the MNU Thinadhoo Campus Hall under the theme “Euphoria.” More than 50 new students from different courses participated in the event, along with members of Neyka’s current executive committee, former executive committee members, and advisors.

The programme provided a warm and welcoming space for new students to connect with one another and become familiar with the student community at MNU Thinadhoo Campus. Information was shared about the MNU Student Union and Neyka, including its planned activities, achievements, and highlights from previous years.

The event also included different presentations and games, creating an enjoyable and interactive atmosphere for students. These activities helped strengthen friendship, teamwork, confidence, student engagement, and a sense of belonging among the new students.

Freshers’ Night reflected the important role of student-led initiatives in supporting transition into university life. It promoted peer connection, inclusive participation, leadership, student well-being, and campus community building.
