A tree planting event was conducted on 14 July 2024 at the jetty area of Thinadhoo City.

During the activity, 50 rooted plant cuttings were planted, with the participation of Thinadhoo City Mayor Saud Ali. The event contributed to beautifying the area while promoting greener public spaces and community responsibility for the environment.

The initiative encouraged environmental awareness, urban greening, biodiversity, climate resilience, and shared care for public spaces. By planting trees in a visible community area, the activity supported the creation of a more pleasant and sustainable environment.

The event reflected the value of collaboration between MNU Thinadhoo Campus and local partners in promoting environmental action.
