The MNU team visited GDh. Rathafandhoo on 24 June 2026 as part of its continued outreach efforts to strengthen access to higher education opportunities across island communities.
During the visit, the team met with members of G.Dh. Rathafandhoo Council and the Women’s Development Committee for a meaningful discussion on educational opportunities and community collaboration. The team shared information about MNU’s goals, available study opportunities, and courses offered for the upcoming intake.
The discussion also explored ways to strengthen collaboration between MNU, the Council, and WDC in supporting students and the wider community. The visit helped bring higher education information closer to learners and families, supporting informed decision-making about future academic and career pathways.
This engagement promoted inclusive access to education, lifelong learning, women’s and community participation, local partnership, and community development. By working closely with island councils and community representatives, MNU continues to support students and communities in exploring quality higher education opportunities close to home.
MNU extends sincere appreciation to Rathafandhoo Council and WDC members for the warm welcome, kind support, and valuable engagement during the visit.
