The MNU team visited GDh. Madaveli on 22 June 2026 as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen outreach, community engagement, and access to higher education opportunities across island communities.

During the visit, the team met with Madaveli Council and held a meaningful discussion with the newly elected council members. The meeting provided an opportunity to share information about MNU’s goals, available study opportunities, and courses offered for the upcoming intake.

Discussions also focused on ways to strengthen collaboration between MNU and Madaveli Council in supporting students and the wider community. The visit highlighted the importance of bringing higher education information closer to learners, helping prospective students and families make informed decisions about future academic and career pathways.

This outreach reflects MNU’s commitment to inclusive access to education, local partnership, lifelong learning, and community development. By working closely with island councils, MNU continues to support students in exploring quality higher education opportunities close to home.
