MNU Thinadhoo Campus conducted two professional development sessions for the academic staff on 18th and 19th May 2026, facilitated by academics from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM).
The first session, titled Research Skills for Educators, was conducted on 18th May 2026 by Dr. Sharifah Shafinaz binti Sharif Abdullah from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM). The session was delivered for the academic and library staff of MNU Thinadhoo Campus and focused on strengthening practical research skills and enhancing research capacity.
The session also provided an opportunity to explore possible collaborations with UiTM, including joint initiatives and research collaborations that could further support academic development and institutional growth.
The second session, titled Empowering Educators: Integrating Technology in Teaching and Assessment, was conducted on 19th May 2026 by Dr. Sharifah Shafinaz binti Sharif Abdullah and Aminath Rinzy, PhD candidate at UiTM. This session was delivered for lecturers and external lecturers of MNU Thinadhoo Campus.
The session focused on practical ways to incorporate technology tools into teaching and assessment, while also supporting effective workload management. Participants were introduced to useful approaches that can enhance teaching practices, improve assessment methods, and support more effective learning experiences.
