The Maldives National University inaugurated its annual Book Fair 2025 today, with the opening ceremony graced by Ms. Fizana Rasheed, Chief Executive Officer of the Maldives Qualification Authority (MQA).
This year’s fair showcases over 1,800 items, including a diverse collection of books, educational materials, and special games for children. The event is being held from October 11th to 13th at the University’s B-Block PE Hall and will be open daily from 16:00 to 18:00 and 20:00 to 22:00.
The MNU Book Fair serves as a vibrant platform that connects book producers, sellers, and buyers, while also offering Maldivian authors an opportunity to present their works written in various languages to readers. As in previous years, the fair has received a warm and enthusiastic response from participants and visitors alike. This year, 40 different entities are taking part in the event.
