MNU Business School Celebrates 34th Anniversary with LEAD 2025 Student Tradeshow

Malé, Maldives – 1st October 2025 — In celebration of its 34th Anniversary, the Maldives National University Business School (MNUBS) proudly hosted LEAD 2025 (Learn. Engage. Apply. Discover), a vibrant one-day student tradeshow showcasing creativity, innovation, and applied learning.

The event, held on Wednesday, 1st October from 2:00 PM onwards at the MNUBS premises, brought together students, faculty, alumni, industry professionals, and invited guests in a unique celebration of knowledge and entrepreneurship.

Through interactive booths and exhibits set up across classrooms and campus grounds, student teams presented business models, creative ideas, and practical applications of their coursework. Guided by faculty mentors, students were given the “lead” to demonstrate their mastery of subjects while engaging visitors in dynamic formats such as demonstrations, posters, games, and business pitches.

A panel of judges comprising faculty members and external experts evaluated the exhibits, with awards presented to outstanding student groups in recognition of innovation, teamwork, and entrepreneurial spirit.

LEAD 2025 is not only a celebration of the Business school’s anniversary, but also a platform for students to translate classroom knowledge into real-world applications, foster creativity and teamwork, and nurture entrepreneurial thinking.

The event also welcomed small and medium entrepreneurs to showcase their products and services, creating an environment of collaboration between academia and industry.

This event marks an important milestone in MNUBS’ commitment to producing graduates who are not only academically strong but also innovative, resourceful, and ready to take on the challenges of tomorrow.
