The Maldives National University’s Student Scholarship Programs align to the University’s strategic goal 9 of student empowerment and success and are designed to recognize high achievements and support enthusiastic and dedicated students in their journey with us.
The student scholarships are funded entirely by the Maldives National University.
To be eligible to apply for the scholarship the following criteria need to be met:
• Be a Maldivian citizen
• Be enrolled full time at the Maldives National University
• Not be the recipient of another sponsored scholarship or be in the Free degree scheme
Scholarships are categorized into:
• Undergraduate and Postgraduate full scholarship
• Undergraduate and Postgraduate tuition fee scholarship
• Shaheed Awards
• Special Scholarships
Undergraduate Full Scholarship is aimed for the newly enrolled students in an undergraduate program, Advanced Diploma or Diploma. The scholarship includes of payment of course fees for the full duration of the program and a monthly stipend.
Postgraduate Full Scholarship is aimed for the newly enrolled students in a postgraduate program. The scholarship includes of payment of course fees for the full duration of the program and a monthly stipend.
