Mr. Vimal Charaparambil Balakrishnan is a Lecturer in the Department of Rehabilitation Science at Faculty of Health Sciences, The Maldives National University. He holds a Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) in Orthopaedics from The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, India. After that he worked as an Assistant Professor for 4 years in K.G. College of Physiotherapy (affiliated to The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University) in Coimbatore.
He holds specialized certifications in Kinesiology Taping, Yoga instruction, and Basic Life Support (BLS). Mr. Vimal has presented various research papers at numerous Physiotherapy conferences held both in India and abroad. In 2023, he achieved international recognition by presenting his research at the World Physiotherapy Congress in Dubai, a premier global platform for the profession. He has authored and published research articles in various International Journals, contributing valuable data to the field of Physiotherapy.
