Uz. Mohamed Fayaz is a Lecturer at the Faculty of Shari’ah and Law (FSL), Maldives National University (MNU), where he teaches courses in Commercial Law, Trade Law, and International Law. He began his academic career as a part-time lecturer in 2018 and joined the University as a full-time Lecturer in 2019.
His teaching philosophy is centred on making complex legal concepts accessible, engaging, and intellectually stimulating. He adopts a student-centred approach that encourages critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and meaningful engagement with legal principles. By presenting legal doctrines in a clear and structured manner while preserving their conceptual depth, he enables students to develop a thorough understanding of the law and its practical significance in addressing contemporary legal and commercial issues.
