Biography

Mr. Suryaprakash N is a Lecturer in the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences at the Faculty of Health Sciences, The Maldives National University. He holds a master’s degree in Sports Physiotherapy. Initially, he started his career as a Physiotherapist and Assistant professor at KG Hospital and KG College of Physiotherapy, Coimbatore. Tamilnadu, India. He Worked in his role for approximately Three years. He specializes in Sports Physiotherapy. He is a certified Taping practitioner. he is having a certificate course in Yoga, Diploma in Football Medicine by FIFA, he is having Sports performance and Nutrition course from IIT Madras through NPTEL portal. Apart from this he attended workshops on Trigger point release, Myofascial release and Various Hands-on therapies.  He has a keen interest in Research, He has 4 publications in International Journals and 3 conference proceedings, He presented papers in Various National and International Conferences and secured 1st prize in some of that. He has supervised Six Postgraduate research dissertations. His Field of interest is Sports Injury Analysis, Advancement in Physiotherapy Management, Research and Teaching.
