I am a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Public Health, Faculty of Health Sciences, The Maldives National University. I hold a Master of Public Health and a Bachelor of Primary Health Care.

I began my public health career in 2007 and have gained extensive experience in primary health care and public health programmes through my work in health centres, hospitals, and Dhamanaveshi, an urban primary health care centre. In 2017, I transitioned to academia and joined the Faculty of Health Sciences as a Lecturer. I am actively involved in teaching, curriculum development, research supervision, and academic coordination. Throughout my career, I have contributed to strengthening public health education and supporting the academic and professional development of health sciences students.
