Hassan Mauroof is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Shariah and Law, Maldives National University (MNU), with over 15 years of experience in higher education and more than 25 years of teaching experience in Islamic education. He specializes in Islamic Law of Succession (Faraid), Islamic Family Law, Islamic Criminal Law, Islamic Jurisprudence (Fiqh), and Arabic Language.

Since joining the Faculty of Shariah and Law in 2010, he has been actively engaged in teaching, curriculum development, and mentoring students in Shariah and Islamic legal studies. Prior to joining MNU, he served as an Examiner at the Department of Public Examinations (2008–2010) and as a Secondary Islamic Studies Teacher at Addu Atoll Education Centre (1999–2008). His extensive academic and professional experience reflects his longstanding commitment to Islamic education and the development of future scholars and professionals in the field of Shariah.
