Asif Moosa Ibrahim is a Lecturer at the Faculty of Shari‘ah and Law (FSL), Maldives National University (MNU), specializing in Arabic language education and Islamic studies. He began his teaching career in 2013 at Al Madarasatul Arabiyatul Islaamiya, where he contributed to Arabic curriculum development and taught language courses.
Asif Moosa Ibrahim joined MNU in 2013 as a part-time lecturer in the Faculty of Islamic Studies (FIS) and was appointed Associate Lecturer in 2014. From 2015 to 2017, he served on the Committee on Courses (CoC), contributing to curriculum planning and academic governance. Since 2017, he has been a Lecturer at FSL, mentoring students and teaching Islamic studies courses. He also served as Head of Department for Quran and Sunnah (2019–2021) and was a member of the Academic Senate (2020–2022), helping shape academic policies and standards at MNU.
Asif Moosa Ibrahim’s work reflects a strong commitment to teaching, curriculum development, and academic leadership, establishing him as a respected educator and scholar in Arabic language and Islamic studies.
