Abdul Faththah Abdul Hameed has been serving as a Lecturer at the Laamu Gan Campus of the Maldives National University since 2014. His academic specialization includes Islamic Fiqh, Usul al-Fiqh, and Arabic Language.
He completed his O’ Level Certificate at Laamu Atoll Education Centre in 2000. Subsequently, he pursued a basic computing course and a two-year program in Machining and Mechanical Fittings at the Faculty of Engineering Technology.
He later commenced his formal studies in Islamic Studies at the Islamic University of Madinah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. After completing two years of intensive Arabic language studies, he was awarded the Shahada Thanawiyyah certificate. He then earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Islamic Fiqh from the Islamic University of Madinah. Further advancing his academic qualifications, he obtained a Master of Arts in Islamic Studies from the Maldives National University.
In addition to his teaching responsibilities, he actively contributes to community engagement by delivering religious lectures and participating in various religious and educational activities across different islands and atolls of the Maldives.
