
Saadhath Moosa is a Lecturer at the School of Nursing, Maldives National University. She is a registered nurse with experience in both clinical practice and nursing education.
She holds a Bachelor of Nursing and a Master of Nursing, and is actively involved in teaching and assessment of undergraduate nursing students. Her academic interests include clinical nursing education, communication skills, patient safety, and professional practice development, with a strong focus on supporting students to develop clinical competence, critical thinking, and professional accountability.
In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Saadhath contributes to academic administration, serving as both a batch coordinator and subject coordinator, as well as being involved in student supervision and academic support. She is committed to continuous professional development and to strengthening the quality of nursing education and practice in the Maldives.
Saadhath Moosa has clinical experience in Intensive Care Units (ICU) and Emergency Rooms (ER), primarily at Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital, with additional experience during the COVID-19 period. Her clinical experience enhances her ability to connect theoretical concepts with real-world nursing practice, fostering meaningful learning experiences for students. Her areas of clinical interest include critical care nursing, mental health nursing, and maternal and child health nursing.
