I hold a Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm), a Master of Business Administration (MBA), a Postgraduate Diploma in Higher Education (PGDHE), and a Postgraduate Diploma in Pharmaceutical Chemistry (PGDPC). I am currently engaged in academia with expertise in pharmacy education, pharmacology, therapeutics, pharmaceutical formulation, and clinical pharmacy. My teaching interests include pharmacology and therapeutics, pharmaceutics, pharmaceutical care, drug delivery systems, and pharmacy practice.

My academic and research interests focus on formulation development, novel drug delivery systems, and clinical pharmacy research. I have contributed to research projects involving the design and characterization of niosomal gels, cubosome-based topical drug delivery systems, and mucoadhesive drug delivery systems, with a focus on enhancing therapeutic effectiveness and patient outcomes.

I am actively involved in undergraduate research supervision, guiding students in pharmacy practice and public health-related studies, including research on antibiotic adherence among young adults and self-medication practices in the Greater Malé area. My professional goal is to promote innovative pharmaceutical research, evidence-based teaching, and the development of competent healthcare professionals.
