    Biography

I am a history enthusiast, passionate educator, avid photographer. Over the years, I have achieved a bachelor’s degree in History and Geography at the University of South Australia, and a master’s degree from the University of the Philippines’s Population Centre.
In the late 2000s, I deviated from the education field and worked in the Government Service as an Atoll Chief of Haa Dhaalu Atoll, then as the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, and the Ministry of Islamic Affairs.
After heading the Center for Foundation Studies, Maldives National University for four years, I now work as a senior lecturer in Maldives National University.
