Dr. Hawwa Neena Ali

Senior Lecturer (Department of Engineering)

Biography

Hawwa Neena Ali is a senior lecturer at the Maldives National University, Faculty of Science and Engineering and Technology (FEST). She holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and IT from The University of South Pacific, Fiji, a Master of Education in Mathematics and Technology from the University of Adelaide, Australia, and a PhD in Education from Universidad de Deusto, Spain. Additionally, she has earned an advanced diploma in teaching Chemistry and Mathematics from the Maldives College of Higher Education, along with a Certificate of Teaching in Science and Mathematics.

• Teaching and learning mathematics: Methods for teaching and improving student engagement.

• Integration of technology: Using digital tools to support teaching and learning.

• Pedagogy: Developing teaching strategies, curriculum, classroom management, good teaching.
