Hussain Majid is an Associate Instructional Designer at the Centre for Educational Technology and Excellence (CETE) at The Maldives National University (MNU). In this role, he designs and develops courses, assists faculties in curriculum enhancement, and conducts educational technology-related training to elevate teaching and learning standards.

He previously served as a Senior Curriculum Development Analyst and Head of the Teacher Resource Centre Management Unit at the National Institute of Education, Maldives. Currently a PhD candidate in Education at the Islamic University of Maldives, he holds master’s degrees in project management and education. With deep expertise in curriculum implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E), and educational technology, he  has led numerous national teacher professional development programs and high-impact educational projects funded by the World Bank, UNICEF, and the Commonwealth of Learning.
