Aminath Samha

Biography

Ms. Aminath Samha is a dedicated professional with a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Girne American University. She started her career as an Inclusive Educator and has served at Thaajuddeen School from 2018 to 2022, fostering an inclusive learning environment for the students. Currently, she is a lecturer at the Faculty of Health Sciences of the Maldives National University, where she imparts knowledge to counseling program students. She also works as a Licensed Psychologist part-time, ensuring the mental health needs of the community are met.

Beyond academia, she plays a pivotal role in crafting the faculty newsletter, showcasing her creativity and communication skills. She has also co-authored a book titled “Nafsaany Raahaiy 2,” highlighting her commitment to sharing knowledge. As a passionate advocate for mental health, she conducts awareness and informative sessions for various organizations, contributing to the community’s well-being. Samha aspires to write a book of her own and publish research, reflecting her dedication to continuous learning and personal growth.
