Oath Taking Term II

The School of Nursing Term II Oath-Taking Ceremony was conducted to formally welcome nursing students into the profession and acknowledge their commitment to its ethical values, responsibilities, and standards. During the ceremony, students pledged to uphold professionalism, integrity, compassion, confidentiality, accountability, and respect while providing safe and person-centred care.

The ceremony strengthened students’ understanding of their professional and ethical responsibilities and reinforced their commitment to safe, compassionate, and respectful nursing practice. It promoted a sense of professional identity, pride, accountability, and belonging among students while preparing them for clinical learning and future practice. The event also strengthened relationships among students, faculty, and the wider nursing community.
