The Maldives National University (MNU) has officially opened applications for the second batch of the MNU InnovateHub programme, inviting aspiring innovators and entrepreneurs to take the next step in transforming their ideas into impactful ventures.

Building on the success of its inaugural cohort, the MNU InnovateHub aims to foster innovation, entrepreneurship, and startup development among students and young professionals. The programme provides participants with valuable opportunities to develop their business ideas through mentorship, funding support, and international collaboration.

Selected participants will have access to funding opportunities of up to MVR 500,000, along with mentorship from industry experts, MNU leaders, and international partners. Participants will also benefit from resources, tools, and guidance designed to support the development and launch of their startups. In addition, the programme offers exclusive opportunities to visit international partner institutions and explore global markets. 

Applications are open to individuals as well as teams of up to seven members. Teams may include one to two non-MNU members, preferably alumni. In accordance with the MNU InnovateHub policy, the main applicant must be a current MNU student.

The application deadline for the programme is 30 July 2026.
