MNU Kulhudhuffushi Campus commemorated International Women’s Day 2025 on 8 March, recognizing the contributions, achievements, and resilience of women in society. The initiative highlighted the global theme, “Accelerate Action,” which calls for greater efforts to advance gender equality and create opportunities for women and girls.

A total of 31 staff members participated in the initiative, which promoted awareness of women’s empowerment, gender equality, and the importance of building inclusive communities. Through awareness messages and engagement activities, participants reflected on the need to address barriers, promote equal opportunities, and support women in reaching their full potential.

The initiative was positively received as a meaningful opportunity to celebrate women’s achievements and encourage collective responsibility for advancing gender equality.

The commemoration raised awareness of the importance of continued action towards gender equality while fostering appreciation for women’s contributions to society. It also reinforced the values of respect, inclusion, and empowerment within the campus community, supporting a culture where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
