26 August 2025

Academic staff from the Faculty of Education (FE) participated in the MyMNU Portal Training Programme conducted by Maldives National University (MNU) on 26 August 2025. The training was aimed at enhancing staff members’ understanding and effective use of the university’s digital platform for accessing academic and administrative services.

The programme focused on strengthening digital literacy and online system navigation skills, enabling academic staff to make more effective use of technology in supporting teaching, learning, communication, and institutional processes. The training also provided participants with greater familiarity with the digital services available through the MyMNU Portal, contributing to more efficient engagement with university systems.

The initiative supports Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4): Quality Education by enhancing the digital competencies of academic staff and facilitating improved access to educational resources and services. It also contributes to SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure by promoting digital transformation and the effective use of technology to strengthen institutional services and processes.

Furthermore, the training aligns with SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals by promoting knowledge sharing, collaboration, and effective engagement among university stakeholders. Strengthening the digital capacity of academic staff contributes to a more connected, efficient, and technology-enabled university community.

The participation of FE academic staff in the MyMNU Portal Training Programme demonstrates the Faculty’s commitment to continuous professional development, digital transformation, quality education, and collaborative institutional development, while contributing to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.
