CETE dispatched equipment to all the campuses to upgrade the e-facilitation rooms established in those campuses. These rooms were previously used as Polycom rooms and were upgraded with modern technology under the AMED project. However, CETE identified additional resources and services need to be developed for sustainable use of e-facilitation rooms. Hence, under the supervision of instructional designer, Ibrahim Adam, CETE collaborated with IT department, procurement section and facilities management section, to purchase and deliver equipment required for the development of sustainable e-facilitation rooms in the university that uses quality facilities with modern technology and innovative methods of teaching through e-learning. After the completion of the installation and setup of equipment, these rooms will be functional with facilities such as, automatic tracking cameras, conduct interactive hybrid classes, integration of classes with Moodle, streaming and recording of classes.
