Book Donation to MNU Library by SN staff

Staff members of the School of Nursing donated books to the Maldives National University Library to expand its collection of academic and professional resources. The initiative aimed to improve students’ and staff members’ access to relevant learning materials, encourage reading and independent study, and support teaching, research, and evidence-based nursing practice. It also promoted a culture of sharing, social responsibility, and sustainable use of educational resources within the university community.

The donation increased the availability and range of learning resources accessible to students, educators, and researchers. It supported students’ academic development, strengthened teaching and research activities, and encouraged lifelong learning and evidence-based practice. The initiative may also reduce financial and resource barriers for learners while fostering generosity, environmental responsibility, and collective ownership of university learning resources.
