Lecturer Ahmed Hashim facilitated workshops titled “Tips on Preparing for Exams” for students of K. Gulhi School from 4 to 5 September 2025. The workshops were conducted to enhance students’ examination preparation skills, strengthen academic confidence, and support the development of positive and effective learning habits.
The workshops focused on practical areas including effective study strategies, time management, examination techniques, goal setting, and approaches to managing exam-related stress. Students were encouraged to adopt structured study routines and apply practical strategies to improve their readiness for assessments and support better academic outcomes.
The initiative contributes to Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4): Quality Education by promoting effective learning strategies, strengthening students’ academic skills, and supporting improved learning outcomes. By equipping students with practical examination preparation skills, the workshops support more effective and purposeful learning.
The programme also supports SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being by promoting stress management and emotional preparedness during examination periods. Addressing exam-related pressure and encouraging healthy approaches to academic preparation can contribute to students’ overall well-being.
Furthermore, the workshops align with SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities by providing academic support opportunities to students across different schools and communities. Extending educational support beyond individual institutions contributes to more equitable opportunities for students to develop academic and life skills.
Through the workshops, Lecturer Ahmed Hashim contributed to student academic development, well-being, and equitable access to educational support, reinforcing the commitment to quality, inclusive, and learner-centred education and the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.
