Dr. Aminath Waseela Participates as Panel Member at ICEST 2025

From 30 September to 2 October 2025, Senior Lecturer Dr. Aminath Waseela participated in the 2nd International Conference on Innovations in Engineering, Science and Technology for Sustainable Development (ICEST 2025), organised by The Maldives National University (MNU).

In addition to attending the conference, Dr. Waseela served as a panel member, sharing insights on the intersections of technology, education, academic research, and sustainable development. The panel discussion provided a platform for exploring how emerging technologies and interdisciplinary research can contribute to addressing contemporary educational and sustainable development challenges.

Dr. Waseela’s participation reflects the Faculty’s continued engagement in academic knowledge exchange, interdisciplinary research, technological innovation, and sustainability-focused dialogue. Her involvement also highlights the role of academic staff in contributing to wider discussions on the application of research and technology to sustainable development.

The initiative supports Quality Education by promoting knowledge exchange, research-informed practices, and innovative approaches to education. It contributes to Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure through its focus on science, technology, and innovation, while supporting Sustainable Cities and Communities and Climate Action by encouraging research and dialogue around sustainable development.
