MNU Library Conducts General Library Orientation Session Online

The Maldives National University (MNU) Library conducted a General Library Orientation Session online for 22 participants, introducing them to the University’s library services, resources, and facilities.

The session provided an overview of key library services and resources, including access to print and electronic collections, library databases, and online resources. Participants were also guided on how to access and make effective use of library resources to support their academic studies and research.

The orientation aimed to familiarise participants with the University’s library services and equip them with the knowledge needed to independently access and utilise relevant academic resources.

MNU Library continues to conduct library orientation and information literacy sessions to support students and staff in making effective use of the University’s library resources and services.

The session supported quality education and lifelong learning by helping students produce credible academic work. These skills also prepare students for ethical professional practice and encourage academic integrity. By sharing educational resources and research skills wth students, the library contributed to the exchange of knowledge that supports partnerships for the goals.
