Dr. Mausooma Mohamed is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Business and Mathematics at the Centre for Foundation Studies, Maldives National University. She completed her PhD in mathematics education at Universiti Putra Malaysia in 2025. She also achieved her Master of Education from the Open University Malaysia in 2015 and her Bachelor of Teaching (Secondary) in Mathematics and Chemistry from the Maldives College of Higher Education in 2003. In her teaching and leadership experience, she has served as Associate Lecturer, Lecturer, and Head of the Department of Business and Mathematics at CFS. Her research interests extend to mathematics education, focusing on student preparedness, curriculum innovation, and equitable learning outcomes, while actively contributing to international conferences and institutional development.
