As part of the ongoing collaboration between The Maldives National University (MNU) and the Maldives Police Service (MPS), Dr Athaulla A. Rasheed from the School of Security and Strategic Studies (SSSS) conducted a series of lectures in Addu on 13–14 August as part of MNU’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities. This initiative strengthens collaboration between academic and professional security institutions, enhances global cooperation on emerging policing and security challenges, and promotes multi‑stakeholder partnerships across the Maldives. Through such engagements, SSSS contributes to building strong institutions, advancing professional development, and supporting evidence‑based security education and practice.
