The Department of Dhivehi Language and Culture of the Faculty of Arts conducted a  Dhivehi Language Crash Course on 21 January 2025, providing participants with an engaging introduction to essential aspects of Dhivehi grammar and language registers.

The three-hour short course was delivered in a hybrid format, enabling participants from Malé as well as various islands across the atolls to take part. The programme provided an accessible platform for participants to strengthen their Dhivehi language skills and develop effective communication skills for academic, professional, and everyday contexts.

Through this initiative, the Dhivehi Department continues to support the development and preservation of the Dhivehi language while creating opportunities for learners to further explore the academic programmes and pathways offered by the Department.
