Physiotherapy week 2024 was celebrated by the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences, organised and managed by the students of Bachelor of Physiotherapy. The students translated the World Physiotherapy posters to Dhivehi for promotion and sharing within the community. The students organised a physio night where physiotherapists from across the country are invited to celebrate the profession and network with each other. The students also held a movie night and stalls to assess various physical fitness parameters. The events were collaborative and brought together the students and staff at MNU.

The events promoted an active lifestyle, surrounding the theme Low Back Pain.The informative stalls, movie night and physio night brought together all the participants of the profession and promoted a feeling of belonging and community. The translated physiotherapy day posters emphasised the importance of back care for patients with low back pain and the importance of its comprehensive management.
