The Maldives National University Library will conduct an Effective Database Searching Session to help students of the Faculty of Health Sciences develop the skills needed to search academic databases efficiently and retrieve relevant scholarly information for their studies and research.

The session will introduce practical search techniques, including developing effective keywords, using Boolean operators, phrase searching, truncation, and applying filters to refine search results. Participants will also learn how to identify relevant academic articles, access full-text resources, and improve the accuracy and effectiveness of their searches.

The session will include practical demonstrations and hands-on search exercises, enabling participants to apply the techniques learned and confidently use library databases for their academic assignments and research.
